Book Clubs

At Avid Bookshop's Prince Avenue location, we devote a bookshelf to all the current book club books. Come by the store to get your copy or purchase your copy from Avid's online shop. We do not charge admission to book clubs, but we do appreciate if book club members purchase the book from Avid Bookshop.

Hot Fiction Book Club

When:
First Monday of every month, 6:15pm to 7:15pm

What:
Hot Fiction reads very fresh (i.e., recent) hardcover fiction releases. Book club members decide what books to read by voting either in person or via email.

When:
Third Sunday of the month, 6:15pm to 7:15pm

What:
The Paperback Fiction Book Club reads fiction paperback books, generally written within the last 30 years. Book club members decide what books to read by voting either in person or via email.

2nd Sunday of the month, 6:15pm to 7:15pm

The YA for not-so-YAs Book Club reads newer young adult books, usually alternating between hardcover and paperback. Book club members decide what books to read by voting either in person or via email.

Captivating mysteries and true crime books! We will read a rotation of true crime, classic mysteries, and newer mysteries (published in the last ten years). Book club members decide what books to read by voting either in person or via email.
