ABOUT THE AUTHOR: 

 

Liana Krissoff is the author of five cookbooks, including Whole Grains for a New Generation and Vegetarian for a New Generation: Seasonal Vegetable Dishes for Vegetarians, Vegans, and the Rest of Us. She worked in the editorial departments of Rizzoli and HarperCollins and has been a freelance recipe tester, editor, and writer for over a decade. Happily transplanted from a tiny apartment in Manhattan, she now lives with her husband and their daughter in Morgantown, West Virginia.

 

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER:

 

Rinne Allen is a photographer living in Athens, Georgia. Working in both color and black & white, she enjoys documenting process as a way to show the effort that goes into creating things. Rinne spends most of her days collaborating with chefs, farmers, artisans, and designers to document their work and the process of creating it.
