March 12, 2020: ATHENS, Ga. — The Athens-Clarke County Library announced today that the Athens Children’s Book Festival, originally planned for Saturday, March 28, has been postponed.
It saddens us to make this decision. However, in light of the coronavirus pandemic, the library and our festival partners believe it is the best course of action for now. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please keep an eye out for a rescheduled date in the future.
The library system has compiled a list of trusted public health resources on its website at www.athenslibrary.org to help the community stay up to date on the latest coronavirus information.
