A Seat in the Shade is a summer poetry series featuring published writers reading each week. It culminates with a performance from UGA faculty and students as they explore what it means to break out of the box in your writing. Avid is excited to be a part of this long-time poetry series!

On Tuesday, July 16, 2019, award-winning author Jericho Brown will be at Hendershot's and read a selection of his poetry. Avid Bookshop will be on-site selling Jericho's books.
