Avid Bookshop invites all teachers, librarians, principals, superintendents, and other educators who work with preK-12 students to our Educators’ Night! We so appreciate the work you do in our community. We would like to say thank you in person!  Join us on April 8th and let us show our gratitude with discounted purchases, coupons to use later, access to new and upcoming titles, giveaways, snacks and drinks, and more!

Drop in anytime between 6:30pm-8:30pm for:

-15% discount on all purchases

-exclusive coupon to use this (or maybe next?) semester

-information about how Avid can partner with your school or program

-a chance to meet with the Avid Kids team in person

-other great opportunities!

When we invite educators, we have in mind anyone who works with preK-12 children & is connected with a school, non-profit, tutoring services, after-school program, volunteer team, or literacy-based institution. Everyone from the head of a school district, a media specialist, a 5th grade science teacher, a high school English teacher, community organizer for kids’ volunteering opportunities, or part time tutor is invited!

Previously, Avid has brought authors into schools, provided materials for classroom activities, hosted field trips, book fairs, and created fundraising event opportunities. Booksellers have  been present at career fairs and volunteer read-alouds; brought books to STEM events; compiled discounted bulk book orders; and more!

Avid staff will be present at Educators’ Night to make recommendations and discuss the many opportunities we would like to take in supporting the important work you all do in our community. We appreciate you so much—we would like to say thank you in person! We look forward to seeing you.
